Does the Google spider read Youtube descriptions completely? I receive Google alerts every day for our business name online, but none of our Youtube videos ever set off a Google alert (even though our business name is in the description). Thoughts?
I do not understand your question. Part of the anwser is yes, Google will read the youtube video description - up to a certain amount of characters. In the google results pages, I usually see the first few words on the title. But what is the deal with the "alerts"? That is what I do not understand. I have posted over 320 videos over the past 24 months and have never had any problems with "alerts".
I am stumped as well. I do not have the business name in the title of the video, but it is in the video description. The business name is used for Google alerts, but the Google alert never seems to trigger off of the Youtube videos. There are some separate Youtube video alert widgets, but I don't understand why it is not working with Google alerts.
like other media/you tube is high ranking almost like wikipedia does, many result landing at youtube page and this what make Google search result more attractive
