Google AJAX Crawlability and passing PageRank

Do you guys know if ajax-dropdown-menu-navigation devices, such as the "QUICK PARTS SEARCH" on the left of http://www.go-parts.com/ leak pagerank? Because I did find that google was crawling the hundreds of different year-make-model variation urls made possible by that AJAX-driven search panel there (and I had blocked it from indexing all of those resulting urls via google webmaster tools in fear of duplicate/thin-content penalty, and those pages were not also present in the sitemap)

If I've got this ajax-based selector with multiple dropdowns that result in thousands of possible results that it can direct the user to, and now Google supposedly has ajax-crawlability,
what if it has the same end result as if your website had thousands of links to those combination-results? (That would totally change the way pagerank flows on your site).

    Thanks ahead of time, folks!

The JS method that is used to call the new pages on that selector form BTW is parent.location Does google pass pagerank to any parent.location pages it sees outlets to?

There has been a long issue between web developers and SEO developers. The issue occurs because both sides are unable to understand the balance between web browser perspective, and online spiders.

Web developers focus on code as it functions for the user, and how sites appear on different internet explorer.

SEO professionals have a different, more realistic perspective of sites. Crawlers must be able to give keywords maximum weight or else the website is a pointless and money.
