Google Affiliate Network - declined application

Discussion in 'Google' started by karabas, Aug 22, 2008.

I recently tried to apply to their affiliate network because of google referrals being retired soon however I got declined.
I've applied with a website in my sig which is a decent one and gotten by Adsense application with no problems.
I suspect that this is because of private WHOIS record.

Did anyone else have same experience?

it is a way to verify that your are the owner of the site that your applying with.
it means if you are applying with a free email address such as yahoo,it must be in your whois.
if you use an email that has your domain in it,it doesn't matter if your whois is private.

just because google owns them doesn't mean they will use the same standard as adsense.

Just curious, how long did you google take to get back to you that you were rejected?

I think you can use your adsense account for Google Affiliate Network.

I totally agree with 'zodiac' it's because of private who is records, try to register using another website or simply get rid of the private records in your site who is records ;)

Google allow one adsense account per publisher, if you apply for second account, they'll decline. Is that your case?

Only one Adsense account is allowed for one user. You can still use on multiple sites though.
