I was wondering if you guys think it would be a good idea if I started using adwords to advertise my freebie site. I was also wondering how much you spend a week with this? on average how much do you pay for adwords? thanks
hmmm.. maybe you should read some e-book or adwords related site.. and yes it really helps if the price is right..
yes you could use adwords to buy traffic. your site would need to be monetised though otherwise you will be spending with no income - not a good plan. cost is up to you, depends on your niche as to how competitive/expensive your bids will be. need a little more info to give a "real" answer. niche, monetised or not etc.
that really depends. you actually have to do some math. how much a click for your keyword cost, how many clicks you need to generate one sale, etc. if used properly, it can be very profitable given that your niche is a good candidate for adwords
Only your own experience will help you in your Adwords undertakings. I spend about $500 per week to buy quality Adwords traffic, but it took some time to work with profit. I spent about $200 for experiments when I firstly begin to work with Adwords and have no any profit. But now I can tell that this money have been spent knowingly. Yes,adwords will surely get u targeted traffic, just learn some basics first and then try with small amount,u may loose some money but thats common, never give up.
Definitely figure out how you're going to make some money first. Being a freebie site it sounds like you're going to try it with ads.
Interesting, As with most of us, we started with little investment if any, and although I can understand it, this is not the path to riches on the internet. Like traditional business, you can't make money without money, and this holds true on the internet as well. You have to spend, or as I like to refer to it, invest, in your business no matter what it is. Most who use adsense will use adwords to feed their sites, and although you may start out in the red, you want to end up in the black, and hopefully sooner than later. I have tried it all, and one thing I have learned, and that is the top search position wins when it comes to profits. I spend all my time on this strategy, and it is more cost effentive than adwords, but takes longer for most. What ever you do, in the start there is no substitute for spending money on advertising. Having the best website with the best product or service means little if no one sees it. It is like having a billboard in the middle of the desert, no one sees it, so although it was a cheapest billboard in the industry, what did it get you? Good luck to all,
