The best way to be officially qualified is to sign up for the Google Adwords Professional program.

It is completely free - you only have to pay for exams.

    Here is the link:

How much starting budget I need to advertise effectively on Adwords to "Turnkey Websites" keyword? It is a competitive niche but not very.

There is no easy answer to this question.

First of all find out how much it costs on the average to advertise, in your niche. Use the Google Keyword Tool to get your estimates.

    In addition:

    1. You have to look at you current conversion rate. If your site is already converting traffic, note that down.

    2. How much money do you make per sale? Multiply that by your conversion rate. So you get:

Profit per sale x Conversion Rate = Your Max CPC

For example if you make $35 of profit per conversion and your conversion is 3%

    $35 x 3/100 = $1.05

This means that to break even you cannot bid more than $1.05 per keyword.

    3. So now it's up to you how much you set your budget.

    However;

    Watch out for this:

Not all keywords will have enough search volume to support your business goals

If you don't have a track record of conversions you may not be able to judge accurately without spending some money just to "test the market".

Make sure that the cost of your keywords matches your business model, i.e. you can actually make money with what you are selling.

    All the best! ;)

It is good thing that most of the seo experts are learning PPC as well. If you want to learn it step by step then here is Google Adwords Tic Tac Do.
