Google Adwords - Site Targeted

    Hi,

I am really glad I found this forum, because I am stuck using Adwords.

I have adsense set up on my own forum. That is working fine.

I have another site, with an adword account. I want to have a site targeted campaign, targeting only one site. My forum!

Can I get it to work? No way. I have even pushed the cpm and daily budget to $50. Zero impressions

    Any help appreciated.

Thanks. I'll keep trying. I have upped my daily budgt to $100 and cpm to $60! That seems very high to me, just to compete with the cpc ads on the site. THe total site impressions are only about 1,000 per month, so hopefully there is no risk of it costing me $3000 per month!

I've never set a CPM that high - it should without a doubt be more than enough. Give it some time and it should kick in.

I'm probably misunderstanding you, you want to advertise through adwords on you OWN site? If so, Why don't you just set up your own text ads, without adwords? It would save you quite some money. But then again, I'm probably misunderstanding you. I do that a lot. So I apologize in advance.

OK. I'll give it a while. I just put it that high to see if I could force the issue. Obviously the fact that it is site targeted........to a site that I own, means I can actually via my adsense account see the total impressions etc. So I can see what the ecpm is for example. That is why I was puzzled that my CPM being higher that the existing adword ads, was still not being displayed.

I'll reduce the CPM once it starts appearing.

Sorry. It is a bit complicated and somewhat devious. I don't want the connection (ownership) between the two sites to be apparent. Hence I need my adword ad to merely appear amongst the rest.
