www.google.com/referral/ I've been getting a server error message at that page (although it's still cached) for the past day or two but am interested in the AdWords referral program and wonder if anyone has been using it and if so what your thoughts have been so far? Anyone have any news worth sharing?
I think that they gave up from this program. Maybe is too expensive to them to keep tracking if you provide a real referee or create a second account to earn $20 yourself. Also AdWords is growing very fast, they do not need to pay us $20 to say good things about Adwords to others Anyway just 2 days down is too short period to say this, lets wait and see if it come back again.

Yes, now its is working! http://www.google.com/referral/ Yesterday it was not but today is up - I just tested again, but the links inside it is down (like "aply here" go time out). Try to clear your browser cache.
Still down when I check it...seems to me this isn't a program Google is really pushing. I want to keep my eye on it though. $20 isn't bad (although it is a bit in the low side) for a CPA type setup. It's a hell of a lot better than the "we'll pay you a dollar if a user takes 10 steps to download/install the Firefox toolbar".
I just applied now as the unstable "apply" link worked for me - but as I have not been invited is just a "what is new"subscription. but the problem is: your target public for this is to low. I don't think that worth to put a link to it in any page. Just very specific pages. In regular pages is easier to convince 20 users to install the Firefox toolbar compared to find one site owner interested in setup a AdWords account. Maybe it works for those who work with agencies and now a lot of people that're setuping new AdWords accounts.
