Google adwords is the best for advertisement coz facebook is just for fun....n not much user are interested in accessing that....so google is quite convenient....
I would go with google adwords. It's all depends on your target audience if your target audience is on facebook than facebook is more effective as compare to google adwords.
Google Adwords most people will say is better now because most people use google over facebook. But I like facebook because the targeting of the visitor is so good. You can target the sex,age,interest of the visitor. Plus the cost of getting a visitor is low compared to adwords.
Depends on what you are selling . Advertising some specialized software on Facebook would be a waste .
I am no expert, but I do feel people are very reluctant to leave facebook to view an ad. I also think many facebook users do spend a lot of time on there, and will eventually just see things like their newsfeed, notifications etc, anything else will be filtered out and ignored. H
Facebook is good for narrowing down your target market but like the poster above said most users are not looking to buy anything. Google on the other hand has given us good results as most searchers are looking for products.
adword is much better than facebook .where you can publish very targeted ads .I personally used adword and facebook .but facebook never worked for me .
google adwords all day every day, you REALLY have to know how to use it because if you don't do it right you can end up wasting a pretty penny
I've had trouble converting with facebook ads. They do have great methods of targeting but adwords seems to be the one that's winning for me personally.
Adwords ads are for specicially search, but Facebook is a social sites everyone crazy about to read the newly messages & chat with friends. So google ads r best.
Depends on the nature of your campaign really, but I would lean towards AdWords if you have a limited budget.

For me Google adwords worked way better than facebook ads, but I suggest you to try both for few days with a little money and judge by your self !
Good post - very informative. I think this is the way things are now, use facebook ads instead of Adwords. You still have to know what you're doing: a good ad, targeted properly and tested. Plus, you must consider your daily spend and bidding strategy.
Google Ads are much more likely to give you fraudulent clicks... Facebook are much more likely to be "real" people...
