hello I have been using google adwords for the past year and a half for my site mgdezigns dot com, but recently I have been told that BING is the better option, good value for money. any suggestions? thx
Bing is... pretty much useless I think. I have tried Adcenter before. Not much of a result. Use Adwords instead.
i also tend to use adwords and have been quite happy with it... although bing is something i am looking to try... but it has a significantly lower traffic.
AdCenter is a good option, if you pay attention to the differences. You might achieve higher returns (ROI) there, since many small advertisers just stick with AdWords, i.e. less competition. Nevertheless the volume will be lower than Google's. Also the user interface falls way behind AdWords. Keywords - AdCenter's "broad match" is less broad than AdWords', so you need to add more keywords (plural/singular forms, locations etc) And one last thing: do yourself a favor - choose "Only Bing and Yahoo! websites" on the Ad Group's network settings. Yahoo's syndicated search partners tend to be, well, performance-challenged...
Depending on your locality, Adwords / Bing had its own pros and cons. Generally CPC for Bing is lower, but at the same time, traffic to Bing is also significantly lower than Google, although they are picking up. I would say if you are in the west, Bing is fine, but transiting to the East, for now, it's better to steer away from Bing.
