Google Adwords Marketing

By the way I really HATE Adwords too many retarded rules. I want to promote some affiliate programs with adwords but they don't allow those long URLs clickbank gives us. How do I add a URL that Google will approve?

I don't have time for those landing pages and I'm not a web designer so I need to just promote the links they give us.

    Very easy solution:

    Display URL: www.SiteYouArePromoting.com
    Destination URL: affiliate.publisher.hop.clickbank.net

As long as the Display URL matches the domain name of your landing page (the page the visitor finally lands on, not necessarily the destination url), then you will not be penalized by Google.

That doesn't work! Those two URLs you used are completely different. The domain name is completely different in the urls they give us to promote and Google doesn't allow them that's why I'm posting this thread.

Get a domain name dude - godaddy.com $2.99 for a .info - forward your domain to your hoplink, put your domain in adwords - and anywhere else.

And to be honest you aren't going to get far on Adwords without a landing page.

You are just about there bro.

Someday you will realize the importance of landing page. Its here that you presell to your visitors. Sending them directly off from adwords is something I will not agree with.

To rephrase - Domain name >> To a landing page >> Landing page focused and forced pitch to product page. You're right adwords won't let you redirect....

If you don't have hosting - get some - if you have money for adwords campaigns you can afford the $5/month I'm sure... Basically - in time - hopefully you have 5 products that perform well - all have their own domain - all pointing to a landing page - all focused - and all converting/profiting more than your adspend. However - once you have your own landing pages, you have an open field re backlinks, free resources, SEO strategies and potentially earning way more than just trying to flip money....

Hope that clarifies it - if you don't know where to get landing pages or how they work, feel free to dig around in my first sig - i have plenty of landers ready to go for aff's...

    Cheers,
    NC.

There are two ways how you can promote Clickbank products on Adwords.

    1. Direct linking: your put your merchant's url as the display url and in the destination url you put your hoplink

    2. Landing page: you get a cheap .info domain (as NCMedia suggested), create a simple review page of a product you are promoting and include your hoplink on that page, suggesting to visit the official website, if they want to learn more about the product.
In this case, both your display and destination urls will be the same. For example: www.yourlandingpage.info

Thank you for that information. Is there a company who offers building landing pages? Also I noticed the Googles new revised TOS they say that any page created to point to another sales page which would be a landing page is against there TOS.

I did notice though adding my destination URL last night I didn't get penalized for adding my affiliate URL looks like that's working.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend getting a .info domain. Invest in a .com or a .net in the long term, because Google likes them much, much better. Seriously, how many .info domains do you generally see in the top 10?

If you're ONLY doing PPC it's fine but if you want to rank in the SERPS as well, then get a .com, it's worth the extra $5-6.
