Google Adwords is confusing

Well I've been trying to find a way to make a few extra dollars (like $500-$1000 per month) and I've been internet marketing for a couple years, just twiddling away at it.

Anyways, I've been playing around with Google Adwords, but it's VERY expensive. My Quality Score is OK, and my minimum bids are around $0.20-$0.50 per click, but if I put the minimum bid amount, I don't get ANY impressions what-so-ever. But if I increase my min bid to $1.50-$2.00 I get clicks, but no sales to the products I promote. I try to promote products not widly promoted or very new because after that most people get in on it and Google gets slammed with the same products.

So far I've used around $500 of my own money promoting on Adwords, and haven't made a single sale. I'm getting pretty frusturated, especially with people online talking about how easy it is to make money on Adwords. Adwords is not easy, and is not for someone who has a budget cause you'll just get slammed by the people with lots of money who can afford $1-$10 per click and have a daily budget of $1000+.

If you have any work that needs to be done online, I'll do it, I can do data entry, and stuff that's very repetitive. Just looking to make a couple extra bucks.

Adwords can be frustrating for the novice but when set up well it can work well. My recommendation would be to save up some money and invest in hiring a Google Adwords professional who is trained and has experience with Adwords. Pay them for 2-3 months to help set your Adwords up and use the opportunity to help train yourself... then from then on do it yourself!

Look around for a specialist though as prices can vary.

i wasted about $1k before i stopped and really had a good look at learning adwords properly. there are a lot of things that G look at to determine how much you PPC, quality score and where you are ranked etc. You just need to nut these out and make them work for you.

it starts getting really expensive and frustrating. i would also recommend getting someone with the know how to help you, or trying other methods like bum marketing and articles etc. a lot slower but also a lot cheaper! ha

stop wasting your money and join PPC-Coach - the $50 it costs will save you thousands in the long run.

I will not advise some one new with Google Adwords to try using at all unless you actually get a good tutorial on how to go about it.

What product you are advertising i don't know but some product are hard to sell or just breakeven. As early as you find what product works or not it's better for you. I always sells such a product which give discount to buyer or free gift so it become easy to sell.
