Google adwords in bulk good idea for local adwords campaign?

I want to know if bulk adwords would work in this scenario:

We need traffic for a website to a town with a population of 25 000.
As the site is local = more interesting for the citizens, I beleive the click frequency would be somewhat higher than a similar campaign for an entire country.

What about making adword campaigns in bulk, activated for most words people in the area type in.

As I understand, lower click frequency combined with lower accepted CPC should mean less views. However, the competition woudln't be that hard?

Is it realistic beliving a CPC of around USD 0,2 would make traffic(i.e manage in the competition) combined with a bulk pack?
I have seen companies made this earlier, I don't know if Google has changed the rules since then?

What do you mean "bulk adwords"?

Sounds like you are saying to bid on all kinds of keywords. That just doesn't work. Bid only on relevant keywords to your product/service. Bidding on "mysmalltown" is not relevant. Even in a small town, you would also be competing with anyone else bidding on the same keywords that advertises in your area.

Thanks for you reply. Ifyou don't compete with anyone else (say someone google for the word "feets" and noone but I have that word in my adword list), would that mean my ad will get viewed even if I bid a very small ammount?

Two points - if nobody else is bidding on it, it's generally for a good reason, and that reason is likely to be that hardly anyone searches for that term, and secondly, if it's completely irrelevant to your landing page, Google is likely to a) shove the price way up, and b) not show it at all.
Google rewards relevance. If you want to keep your costs down you need to be more relevant, not less.
