I've recently used Google adword and the result was very dissapointing. I had $75.00 coupon from my web hosting service and I used, I've received a total of 58 visitors. But, my dissapointment was I did not make any sale at all. If you are new you have to make some research on the internet, or seek advice from people who are expert in using it. Because there is a big possibility that you might waste your money.

The first thing you need is commitment to the process. You can't just try it out.

Secondly, you have to be sure the your website is ready to produce sales. If your sales copy is not strong or you do not have a properly structured business model, you shouldn't start your PPC campaign. Unless of course you are using it to test your current marketing.

Thirdly, learn everything you can about Google Adwords. Sign up for the professional program, read some books and practice. As time goes on you will develop a feel for what works and what doesn't.

    Good luck!

I pretty much agree with you. Since It was the first that I tried it there were a lot of things I did not take into account. Before I it try a second time I am going to have to read a lot of tips about how I can be successful using adword.

Your question is very broad and cannot be answered quickly and easily. There's whole books written on the subject. It's like asking, how do I make sick people better. The answer would be, you want to be a doctor so you must go to medical school for eight years. What kind of sick people? Those with a cold or those with cancer?

I agree with Ian, you can't just "try it out". Know and learn what you're getting into or you'll be disappointed. Ian is also correct about making sure your site will/does convert. Plenty of resources out there to learn as well as pros to do it for you.

Well, I know about that, I am someone who believe that experience can beat any book, its why I asked this question over there, I wanted advice from normal users who have experience not expert who'll try to make things easy by making books.

    Thank you for your advice.

Agree that experience can beat a book. You must however start somewhere and learn the basics. Would you let a first day medical student, without much or any knowledge, treat you, much less operate on you?

If you want experience, go ahead and open an account and start advertising. Who knows, you might be a natural at it. Most people are not so be prepared to lose some money. Experience can only go so far. Don't to thinking that's all you need. You will need to spend some time and/or money to educate yourself.
