    Hey guys,

I just need some help with my google adwords. I'm currently running a real estate business out of Toronto, Canada. I need help with adwords, more specifically, I need help with finding keywords that aren't $1 - $2 per click. Real estate is expensive. How would you guys recommend that I find low cost keywords that will be able to drive traffic to a real estate website.

In addition, any other ideas for marketing you guys might have

    Thanks so much,

    Simon

In my AdWords campaign, I noticed that my video ads have a lower CPC.

My CPC also went down when I implemented conversion tracking.

Also, if you can improve your quality score, your CPC should go down.

    Hope this helps.

The only way to get your CPC down is to get your CTR up and keep it up.

IF you're CTR is low, you'll never get cheaper clicks.

That means researching what your competition does and making sure your ad stands out.

Interesting, what defines a CTR? Is it the act of clicking on a second page after landing on the initial landing page? How does google track CTR?

No! For example your advert is displayed 1000 times and you get 100 clicks on your ads then your CTR would be 10%. Its got nothing to do with what the visitors do after landing on your page.

CPC depends on your adwords quality score, of which CTR is one factor. Some other factors include keyword relevance (to landing page), landing page quality (load time) etc etc etc. Being competitive for competitive keywords is not easy.

CTR is an very important concept to know, and running ads before understanding it will be expensive. My advice is do more research before spending money or find professional help. Adwords is not a simple system.
