Hey DP members Does anyone mentioned some kind of a strange thing in G AdWords billing activity? For a two weeks or so G doesn't charge me. And there's no warnings like "your ads will stop showing bla bla" Everything is just fine. Any ideas about it?
With Postpay billing, adwords users are billed once their outstanding balance exceeds a certain treshold throughout the month. This threshold may increase up to $500. So you've probably just passed your threshold ($50 ?) and got billed. Hope this helps
So even If I owe Google and it doesn't ask me to pay it's ok? I just need to wait until it charges me?
I can't a give 100% correct answer to that question since I roughly know your situation. But here's the fact: If you're a Postpay customer, you'll be charged whenever your outstanding balance (debt) exceeds $50. After your balance exceeds $50, the billing threshold increases to $200,$350 and finally $500 (as you exceed the particular threshold). If you have a correct Credit Card information, Google will charge the amount from your Credit Card. You don't need to worry if you're 100% legitimate. Regards,
If You open the account first time, and this is Your first time payment, they should charge You after 24h or if You have to pay 200$ in a few days. For example : First day I spend 210$. You will be cahrged next day. First day I spend 100$, next day 30$, then 110$ - and You will be charged on the fourth day. If You pay many times, than this limit incrasy to 350$, 500$ and so on..
Also, if you are below the threshold but are not accruing clicks (all campaigns paused, etc.) they will eventually charge you anyway
I owe G around 5K $. My cc is ok. G didn't try to charge me yet. Campaigns still active like nothing changed.... I'm a bit confused about it. I can see "You will be billed every USD $500.00." in my account. So I contacted AdWords support. Let's see what would they advice.
AdWords guy answered really quick and I think everything is gonna be fine. "your outstanding balance shouldn't be as high as it is. I am escalating this to our Billing Specialists and will get back to you as soon as possible with an update"
That is really odd. I have never heard for a billing failure like this. Sooner or later they would figure it out.
So guys, After mailing to AdWords support my billing activity is OK. G charged me 10 times yesterday and keeping that untill I owe "0". So it wasn't something special- just system mistake.
