Google adwords and a landing page

I am working on several ideas and websites. This week I made a web store, all filled with amazone products. My landing page has a a header + picures and some text. The the amazone products are loaded into an iframe.

My landing page had almost no text about the products I try to sell, as after loading the header it amzone page is loaded.
I made an ad at google, almost no clicks and expensive per click.
Probably because of the lack of content in my landing page?.

So I changed every thing around. My index page is full off information of the products I sell, and various links to other websites who have information too regarding the products.

However: My index page redirects right away to my former page:
    example:

    First is was like this:

    www.mysite.com/mainpage.html

    Now: www.mysite.com/index.html
the index.html is redirected right away to www.mysite.com/web/mainpage.html

My question is: is google looking at the entire index.html page when I redirect it to my mainpage.html or not?

    I used <frame> to redirect.

I hiding text at my original mainpage.html an option?

I started a few months ago with building web sites, so i am still a new to this. At this point I am stucked, I read a lot but everything spins right now:)

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your input!

    Richard

redirects are fine, but google does not like iframes.

google will estimate your final landing page... Sometimes I use two redirects (for merchant and my onw tracking) but google is looking at the final stop...

In your case consider PHP based keyword insertion of your products description, so instead of {keyword} google will see on your LP {amazon product name 1}, {amazon product name 2} etc.

your final landing page must have relevant keywords with your adwords ads not just images

Also if you're using a data feed from amazon, you've got an uphill battle ahead of you.

Better then landing page, go for landing website !
    One product = one website
