Google Adwords Advertising

Can we advertise on google adwords for only 0.01 per click? I am trying these on my account but google does not accept my set up, and when I choose keywords, adwords calculate the ppc advertising cost and it ranges to 0.80 to 2 dollars per click. Can anyone help me do it right?

Yes you can use 0.01 as it is the minimum bid you can set in adwords. But there is not guarantee that you ad will show with this much bid as Google will show ads which has better adrank ( BID * Quality score). So if your adrank is higher then other then it will show.
To set 0.01 bid, you need to go for "manual bidding" and then set adgroup bid to 0.01.

 

Yes you can... but do you really think you will get traffic from adwords when adwords itself suggesting you to choose your budget between 0.80 to 2 dollars per click ? It's almost of no use if you choose the bidding 0.01 per click. Do keyword research and identify low competition keywords which can help you to get traffic within your budget.

 

I would say, you should go for initial suggested bid rate to rank your ads higher. Once you have a good CTR to the ads, you can lower the bids as your quality score will be improved. Cheers

 

have you recently read a book which talked about penny clicks ?

If you target Demo is Developed countries , a .01$ click might be a hoax.

the minimum i was able to get (in display network,USA) was this (.05$) for a very broad niche and i believe it was due to the high CTR (which comes through click generating creative).

You must.... first you check keywords competitor bid which keyword do you want bidding after you can choose your bid according your keyword competitor.
