    Hi ALL,

I have started PPC campaign recently.
Follwing is my concern:-For some keywords status is eligible.
-When I click on status bar it says my ad is showing on SERP
-when I run ad preview tool for same keyword with targeted geo area,it shows my ad at 1-2 position
-But for that same keyword ,impression is zero
    How is this possible???

    My second concern:
-For some keyword it shows below first page bid limit
-But when I click on status bar,it says my ad is showing on SERP(0 impression again)
-Preview tool also shows my ad
How is this possible if my bid is not enough??
    Please through some light.
Also I am doubtful about ad preview tool????

IMO, impressions will be counted only when it is searched for in google really and preview tool does not count impressions

If your campaign is started VERY recently you may need to give it 24 hours. Is your target country asleep?

The ad preview tool does not count impressions. That's one of it's purpose and why you should use it instead of google.com to check your ads and competitors.

It is possible to have a "below first page bid" message and your average position be on the first page, sometimes well up the page. The reason is simple: the calculation is done for all advertisers using the keyword, whether they are active or not. It also, I believe, uses all advertisers no matter where they advertise. A bit of a quirk but totally normal.

I hate to ask this because of how basic it may seem but have you done proper research on this keyword? Does the keyword and match type you are using actually get searches? Are you geo targeting a very specific area that may not get the same search volume? Are you using negative keywords?

My understanding is that it is the same as the regular search engine. If you do multiple searches, you'll see that just like on google.com, the ads are not always the same and move positions.
