Google Adwards - good for back linking or raising page rank?

    I was hoping someone knew whether back linking can occur with adwords content placement? I remember reading somewhere that using this with content placement can actually raise your page rank.

    No,it can't.
    It's advertising, they're not backlinks, they're not permanent and they're in javascript and don't get crawled.

    You cant get backlinks. But magda you are not right in saying javascript cant get crawled. The present Google algorithm is capable of that.... Be sure to keep yourself updated on the latest SEO techniques

    Also considering that the links goes first to google and then to your site, it really doesn't reflect as link juice on your site.

    Do get over yourself - I do it it all day for a feckin' living. Do you really think Google didn't think about their own adsense jscript when they updated?
