I don't know if any of you guys noticed this, but I used IE (first time in a looong time) to quickly check something out at Google. When the main Google page loaded I was greeted with a little ad promoting their toolbar. I'm so used to just the plain search box only page that this seemed quite weird. That goes to show how used to a non ad plastered page you get. Now they have the fullest right to promote their products, but there are bound to be people moaning about this (like they did with Google promoting their own products and services on certain search terms).
