Hello all i logged into google adsense today and they had a new revised TOS up there i believe for which it told me to accept before resuming. Does anybody know what changes they actually made or what they have added? Thanks.
Yeah! i also got that TOS notification which i accepted! but not read througly because it was so long in size
You should really start reading the terms.. its dangerous if you don't. The terms are still pretty much the same though
Does anyone know exactly what the changes are that have been made to the TOS. Anything major to worry about?
I also found new TOS in my control panel changes are difficult to find Here you can get the latest changes http://adsense.blogspot.com/ http://adsense.blogspot.com/2008/02/updated-terms-and-conditions.html
Been discussed many times, use the DP search feature! But yeah, you can just accept them, noting new really!
I have run a manual diff and here are the results: http://www.jimkarter.com/2008-02-27-new-google-adsense-policy-change.html
Yes , I also got the same notification which I accepted . There are some new rules that might concern few new publishers
Yes there is a major change about privacy. You need to have a privacy policy on your site which discloses: "discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users’ browser". Read it more at: http://www.jimkarter.com/2008-02-27-new-google-adsense-policy-change.html
Hi ya Jim, I just read your post and see there is not yet a Privacy Policy page on that very blog. Do you plan on adding a PP page to all your blogs or sites soon? And if so when does google say that the PP page should be up on publisher sites.. Do they give us a few days to do this change? Boulder
Major changes are: 1. you can put adsense search and referral ads on pages without content. 2. you can put adsense on error, registration, and thank you pages. 3. you need privacy policy on the site with says cookies are used to get some info. 4. you can show more than one adsense ads from more than one account on same page. 5. you can now run contextual ads from other companies like yahoo on the same page.
