    You must first have a website thats properly made and has a decent amount of visitors.
    You should read through Google's TOS for basic requirements for the website.

    create an account in Adsense and put the ad in your site, people will see these ads and when they will click on these ads you will get a % of the price of ads. every single time.

    You register with Adsense to show ads on your site. If some interested visitor clicks on those ads, you get few cents.
    I recommend you a book - Adsense for Dummies.
