I'd suggest even if you have a general directory, you can expand it as much as you can, keeping the navigational structure not too deep. You can cover many more topics in a general directory, add more pages, categories and sub-categories and expand it to a big directory. Gradually, you'll start coming on Search Engines and fraffic will start coming. You should be able to make more than $2 from it daily!
