    hi
    Gizmo here,
well i wanted to ask all u guyz out there about yaho publisher(adsense kinda system created by yahoo)

does it have the same efficiency as adsense?
    Is it really worth joining?
Will it accustom itself to my site?
Finally, can u trust yahoo for security?

anynone out there who want to have a look at yahoo publisher service go to
    http://publisher.yahoo.com/

I think GC should make a new category for Yahoo too :p

    waiting for replies ..

    laterz

I had no experience with YPN. Someone said YPN has problems with content match. May be due to less ads.

I have heard that about the ads not matching as well... not sure how anyone would know though as they have been stuck in beta for years and hardly anyone that applies gets approved. They really need to get thier act together imo

The simple answer is Adsense is a better program, more targeted ads, and more options. However if you are in the right niche Yahoo can still pay well.

Yeah, this is completely dependent on your niche. Google has a much larger ad inventory then Yahoo so ad matching is definitely better overall.

I've tried YPn several times in the last two years and every time it was absolutely near-worthless.. Retarded ad-targeting, low ad-inventory, and low ePC..
it's that time of year though, that i rotate through all my ad networks to see how they perform, so i'll be trying YPN in the next week or so.. Currently testing Adbrite (which is horrible so far!) ..

    I fully agree with Tearabite.
I was with YPN but then stopped for some time and they now just say I had to re-aply, and then a message, under review, days, weeks, months.

Looks like its' all just auto replies and nobody realy knows what to do when.

On the other site I'm using for my own marketing and got page one rankings within weeks on several sites.

They have to get their act together to become more efficient.

Honestly, I don't even feel like taking the chance of trying it. I'd rather just stay with Google, they seem to know what they're doing..

i can only say up no one can beat adsense unless the company pays the publisher more than adsense.

Yahoo will review your site. They consider PR as well.

they don't allow all the members to join.
