I am thinking to contact them. Did anyone already contacted them regarding this issue?, if yes then what was their reply.

Read there that they are working to remove that $25 fee from EFT transfers. Also someone said its expected in Feb 2014.

That $25 is intermediate bank fees for wire transfer. If Google uses existing NEFT/RTGS infrastructure the fees is Rs.2.50 (~$0.05) which has to be paid by the sender.
And BTW: the post you are talking about is irrelevant as I donot think the publisher actually got payment via EFT (as Google haven't implemented this in India yet).

Even though there is a $25 fee, I will not have an issue with it, as I will get the payment in my account within 2-3 days.

I think Google needs some time to forward the data and process the payment even after PI appeared in AdSense dashboard. That's why I said 2-3 days. And yes after initiation of NEFT transfer it takes around 2-5 hours to credit in the beneficiary account.

That's in beta, and I am a part of that beta testing.
Last month Google made that testing with limited 15 publishers, this month they are expanding this test to more users.
Officially : EFT is still not available for all Indian publishers.

I got an email from adsense team regarding this payment upgrade and other updates to payment settings, I have one question to OP, Can we have more then one bank account in payment profile? and withdraw money selectively?
    Thanks
