Which is Better Link Units, Ad Units or Image Ads? Really, how are we to get people to click these Ads if we cannot ask them to visit them? How does one Add Google Ads without tricking a Site Visitor into clicking on it. It seems like we have to be sneaky but that does not feelhnoest.
text-ad units have always worked best for me.. if the ads on your site are relevant to your content, people see the ads, a small percentage are interested and click the ads.. nothing sneaky about it.. as a matter of fact, if you try and use sneaky tactics to 'trick' people into clicking, you'll probably get banned from the Adsense program.. .
I prefer text ad units they seem to get more clicks than images based adverts or link units. I also find that the optimum unit is 320 x 200
Link units get more clicks Ad Units pay more... Image ads don't work that well unless you run an arcade site.
on the contrary i find that google search boxes dont work too well?? I am actually interested to know others results
i would love to know in what situation image ads works well? since majority of you are more successful with text ads.
