Google AdSense Tax information

    Hello Guys,
    i was running website with adsense, but when i signed up, they were asking me to fill some TAX FORM if my webserver property is involved in US . as my webserver is in California , i need to feel that form and fax or post them. it wasnt before few months i am really hesitated with this new TAX Exemption thing..

    like they holding payment till they dont receive tax information

    they want to have Form 8233 filled up..

    anyone has idea...
    anybody has experience on it ?

    Kaustubh, You haven't mentioned where do you live? That will matter. Having your site hosted in US doesn't mean that you have to pay tax in US. You are suppose to pay tax only if are owning a web server or owning a hosting service in the U.S. Otherwise you should select Non US Activities.     You're in India - the fact that your server is in California means Jack shit - you don't pay tax in the US. I have an Aunt in California but I don't need to pay US tax on her (you get the idea). Just check the box that says 'no US financial interests' or similar.
