Google Adsense sucks!

    Hi all,

I have been with Google Adsense for 2 years and have finally built my income to an average of $40us a day. $30, $50 and as high as $65 a day have been the normal all this month. The within 2 days it goes down to $4 a day.

What I cant understand is that my traffic has not changed, but Googles apge impressions dont match mine. Infact they say I have had 1/3 of what I actually have had.

And, I have a ctr usually around 20% but now it's 3%. Whats up???

    Any ideas????

maybe your ads show very untargetted/irrelevant to your site's contents. try optimizing your keywords or change ad placements.

Can you see from channels where the fall is? That's a dramatic drop - sounds too big for no ads to be available suddenly. Are you still seeing ads properly (PSAs don't count as adsense impressions) A drop in ad impressions and CTR at the same time does sound like one or two key advertisers have pulled out

One possibility perhaps is that most of your impressions are always in a country without ads for your site, and there are no more ads for the country which was generating income before

Have you made any changes - introduced section targetting perhaps, or accidentally removed titles/descriptions, or changed to a different CMS?

Is there any chance the site(s) has been hacked? Or you've changed the adsense code yourself and somehow made it invalid? You should check the publisher-ID in some of the pages which are not showing impressions anymore, and check the code is showing correctly.

Then of course try contacting adsense.

    Good luck

Google is not blind to quickly ban people getting too much traffic or low, they'll review everything before sends the ban email... only inappropriate impressions can make bad things..
