    may be to t4ell you that you should HAVE adsense on your site and the mediabot is just waiting and ready to make you richer ...
    otherwise i have never heard of mediabot being on a site without adsense since mediabot usually follows the first loading of a page with adsense code among other causes to visit a page

    I've had adsense on their before but removed it for a while.

    so here you have the reason
    mediabot is just visiting old URLs to refresh data or eventually drop the url after a while without adsense
