I am seriously considering to start placing Adsense referrals on my site to see if I can monetize my traffic even more. What's your take on it? Have you ever used it? I really need some reviews guys!
In my case it took me an average of 30 clicks to get one $2.50 referral. That is a a horrible pay out for 30 clicks so why bother. I think google referrals are working out as bad as google video ads... in my opinion they both suck big time
Google adsense referrals don't work Only referral for google products.. are working for me (adsense, google toolbar, firefox etc) average from 3 clicks.. 1 get conversion = $0,10 (2 clicks lost, no $$) If you use them, they are not worth a hot placement (orange on the heatmap) Use them on the yellow or white coloured area. Don't send your visitors away for less. Google adsense referrals are not worth a hot placement on the heatmap. Only my experience
I never used referrals properly but I am planning to use it now for some niches which I am planning to built.. I believe it depends on the niche and how you can utilize it... my average CPC is only 2 cents and so the referrals would not be too bad for me I suppose if I use it in a proper niche
I tried different referrals but nothing worked for me. Anyway, you can place them for few days and see if they work better for you.
They make good income if placed wisely. But you need to choose the appropiate ads for appropiate locations. It requires some planning like the targets and where do you get visitors from.
It depends on the niche of your site. Technology, computers, and internet niche seems to be good-paying niches for referrals. My site was able to earn $100 in just 1 day from 2 clicks on Adsense referrals early this year. Never occurred again though LOL.
Google Referrals is not working out for me. Out of 150,000 page impressions total received, I had 18 clicks on the referral ads and out of that I received 1 conversion (~$2.30). I'm going to yank google referral Ads and replace with cj.com or direct affiliate ads.
