google adsense problem...

help me please... i am new to google adsense and so i cant make the correct code for my site... where i am stuck is at "Choose Ad Channels" so what should i add there... and when i add my own links the ad codes didn't show me anything.... my ad codes are below:

DON'T add or remove any thing from this code, you supposed to be asked in step No. 3 I think to add a channel. go back to your adsense account and read every step carfully to add the channel to your code.

actually i never modified any part of the codes... but at chennel i put the link where i will add my codes.... but when i add the codes there nothing is showing me.... but a white bar.... and also what should i add in the chennel please tell me... i am really confused in the chennel...
