Google Adsense Positioning Probelm on my Wordpress Header

    Hello All,

    My Google Adsense on the top is not properly programmed by my designer on my wordpress theme. I am using the Adsense Manager Plugin to manage my heads.

    My Site is http://www.iwebie.com

    The site looks perfect with the ad placed perfectly on a fully maximized firefox browser in 1024 by 768 pixel display property. When I make the size of the firefox window to a smaller size or when I change the resolution of the screen etc, my google ad starts floating below. Is there a solution to this and can it be programmed in a better way.

    In the current theme the site looks ugly when the Google ad on the header moves down.

    I am attaching a screenshot of perfectly aligned Screen (iwebie.gif) and a disturbed screen due to change of browser size (iwebie-2.gif).

    I need help with the correct way of placing the Google Adsense Ad on the top to prevent it from looking ugly on Different Screens

    Regards,
    Hemanth

    I have just spent 20 minutes on solving your problem.

    Heres the solution:

    Add this to your css

    header1 {
    width:980px;
    }

    Code (markup):
    Just after <div id="header"> add this

    <div id="header1">
    Code (markup):
    and close this div tag before the header tag is closed.

    After editing header.php it should look somewhat like this:

    <div id="header">

      <div id="header1">

              <div id="header_left" onclick="location.href='http://www.iwebie.com';" style="cursor: pointer;">
              <img src="Great%20Findings%20by%20iWebie_files/logo.jpg" alt="Great Findings">
              </div>

              <div id="header_right">
              <!-- your adsense code goes here -->
              </div>

      </div>

    </div>

    Code (markup):

    After you have did this, your ad unit won't float into the content. If the size of browser window is decreased less than 980px; a horizontal scrollbar will show up.

    If you need more help, feel free to PM me. I don't really check much of threads.

    If you are unable to fix this problem yourself, contact me, i will do it for you :)

    :D

    Hello Mate,

    I have applied the changes as per your suggestions. The probelm somehow repeats. The changes have been made online now.
