well guys can someone record the video for me . Its kinda late for me like early morning 1:30 AM..so if someone can record or host it somewhere?
Isn't it on Adsense Blog already? It's public invite. Anyway, I think it's going to be some crappy webminar talking about the basics like how to use channels and how to read the google heatmap of clicks. Those're old stuff. What I and many others need to learn now is: How to track clicks without channels (instead: page, ad format, position, destination website). How to optimize CTR by doing automatic A/B testing. How to configure adsense to show highest paying ads in the best spot for INSTANT higher revenue. How to protect your adsense ads from clickbomb by rivals. How to write the right appeal letter when your account is banned. What's the f*cking point of learning to use channels again and again and again? It's not next level. Next level means Google has to provide a better tracking facility, not just some crappy channels, and provide a better reporting with full-blown CTR, eCPM and CPC charts to spot best performing formats, pages and keywords at a glance. Adsense is like stuck in time or something. Gone are many years without significant improvements. What's the f*cking improvement in 2006 or 2005, none. Man, I feel like firing somebody if I were a boss at Google. They want to keep all those millions or something. Take out 1% of it and put in improving publisher's experience. (Damn it!) </rant>
Yupp, agree with you.. But I think next level could be mean something to particular people..like next level of grade2 is grade 3, so if you're already in grade 5, it's not a 'next level' anymore. For me, next level of Google would be a protection of click fraud, and tracking. Cheers,
did anyone view the webinar?? any good tips from it? or was it like google adsense for dummies style like people seem to be saying in this thread ...
I'd like to see your first one done via integration with Analytics. Yes, you can track your clicks there to some extent but only if you put something into place yourself (which obviously isn't going to be as accurate as if Google were doing it for you.) IF Adsense and Analytics were paired, you'd get accurate reporting that you could do some real meaningful analysis on and not just be limited to 200 channels. What is it with G and the number 200? lol For your number 3, they will claim that is already being done. I do not believe that since, if they did, the filter would not be necessary to weed out the 1-cent wonders. Four isn't too likely. I suspect that they feel if you are the type of person who attracts rivals who will click-bomb you, then you aren't the type of person they want in the program, too much of a liability for the advertisers I can't see your fifth one ever being done because that's like telling people the keys under the mat after you just threw them out the window
I've seen a part of the webminar... they were only describing the account pannel.. their connection was very bad, fell down two times, first time I waited until they got back.. second time.. got bored... so.. maybe in the final they said something interesting, but from what I saw was... "Adsense explained for dummies".
This is not good, we need real people from adsense addressing one of the biggest publisher concern: how to protect your account from rival.
