Normal CTR is 2%. So after after 100 page views you get 2 clicks. Make better ads placements, this might increases CTR
Ad placement is key. I have ads at the beginning of the first 3 posts on my blogs and I get 10% CTR on a good day and 3-4% on a bad day. I get usually 100-200 uniques each day.
An easy way to get a lot of hits / traffic is to have the users generate the site content, rather than making it all yourself. For instance, I run a site where users can upload artwork to turn into a virtual pet and they try and get other people to join their virtual pet sites and adopt a pet based on their artwork. With this strategy in the 3rd month of the site being online I got over 1 Million Adsense page views. User generated sites will give you that snowball effect you are looking for. Users will make the content, spread the content and in turn get other users to make more content and spread it and then you have a snowball rolling down a hill, getting bigger and bigger. It's a heck of a lot easier too than running a blog where you have to write everything yourself.
It's little confusing. If I have 2% or more and less than 1% on next 5 days, 6th day again 2%+ should the ad placement be adjusted? Or is it good enough? I have varying income everyday, it goes up one day and goes down for next few days. What's the deal?

I am also having a very low CTR on my adsense ads on my blog. I placed ads at the beginning and end of each post and one at the side bar...and have 450 daily visits...but I still don't make anything.
