Hi, I'm trying to get a little feedback regarding Adsense. I applied using my baby blog at http://bloggingbyky.blogspot.com/ and received an email a few days letter that said they are "unable to accept" at this time. The reasons given were: 1) insufficient content (fixed) 2) My site is a chat site - my site is a political blog, it has nothing whatsoever to do with chatting 3) I need to remove all content that violates Google policies, such as "allowing users to download YouTube videos" - the only thing I can figure they're talking about is the embedded YouTube video that is what I'm discussing on that particular post. It's embedded, the code taken from YouTube itself, I'm not sure how that's not allowed? 4) My site is "dedicated to the sale and distribution of term papers" - Again, it's a political blog which has absolutely nothing to do with term papers or the distribution thereof. Is there anyone out there who might be able to take a look at the blog in question and let me know your thoughts? My main site is at Progressive Insanity dot com, should I try re-applying with that one? I thought the Blogger site would get approved faster, which is why I went with that one. So, my questions: are you able to tell what/where they came up with those violations of their policy so that I can fix it? And, should I re-apply using the Blogger blog? Or should I apply anew using my main site? I would really appreciate some insight on this .... Thank you in advance for your help, Ky
Well, unless you have loads of traffic you are not losing anything by not being approved by AdSense, which actually pays really low when compared to other networks if they really pay... they used to do it, but lately I'm still waiting for a check that should be issued over a year ago when the minimum was reached and today is accruing earnings but not sent. A better option is apply for a 7search.com publisher account that pays far better (only US-based publishers) but you can give another try to AdSense re-applying with a Blogger account as long as the blogger account has loads of content already published because your application will be declined again otherwise.
I just did a snippet search of your blog and found that the content is duplicate. This could be the issue.
