Google Adsense for user generated content, similar to urbandictionary.com

    Hello,

I have a site that consists of 100% user contributed content. The site is similar to urbandictionary where people make up words and others add definitions and usages. The problem I have is that google adsense cannot find anything useful contexually tor ad generation and I end up getting the google non-profit ads.

My question is, Is there a way to force adsense to spit out ads of a certain type (ie game ads, diet ads). Or is adsense the best approach? Ive tried adbrite but the earning/click are pretty silly.

    Thanks!

You can try something that is CPM (cost per measure) if you're getting pretty good traffic. But if you're not getting much traffic I'd stick with something similar to Adsense.

Make some pages that are "Professionally Researched" and make them on topics you're interested in. Once you make these pages your adsense ads will show relevant ads and you'll get paid.

You'll have to update these pages every once in a while, or you might not lol, I'm not 100% sure. But if they are "Professionally Researched" pages by you and you add a link to those pages on every user generated page, you'll get more traffic to your pages and then get some more clicks on your paying adsense ads.

    Hope that helps a little.

well yeah you can do that in adsense but only if you have 20 million page view per month, then you can be a adsense premium member and you have a lot more control over how you want your add to look and display, even you can specify keywords then adsense will use that keywords to generate add for you, best of luck :D so if your in those big guys who get 20 million page view per month then ask Adasense that you want to be premium

You might be able to do it, but it's against the Adsense program policies.

You might do better with affiliate ads or CPA ads that you can pick and choose.
