Hey there,

I was just wondering how successful you all have been with google adsense for parked domains?

I setup a few today to see how they do.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Sincerely,
Travis Walters

Hi Travis, I am not a Adsense Fan but I don’t think you could expect huge returns from Adsense for parked domains unless you have good traffic for that domain. Make sure you go through Adsense policies before you go and add your domain.
Couple of things you should be aware about ‘Adsense for domains’ program policies are:
• You may not promote your parked websites by displaying unwanted advertisements on third-party websites
• Sites participating in Adsense for domains may not be framed or displayed on other sites
So beware of these policies before enrolling to ‘Adsense for domains’!

Not much personally I prefer to get a website and develop it, through rich articles etc. and add the standard content adsense to the articles rather than using the google for domains, because i think that the only money in domain parking is when there is a website that has a name very similar to another website that gets millions of traffic and people mistype the name of the site

Hey there Hostcoin,

Thanks for the response.

How are you suppose to get traffic if you can not advertised your parked domain?

Does Google do advertising for you? I doubt this but I got to ask since you said you can not advertise.

So you are kind of saying advertise a bunch before you add google adsense for domains so it has traffic because you can not advertise while their adsense is there?

I prefer adsense for content myself but I have around 11 domains and I am only use one at the moment :)

Sincerely,
Travis Walters

my domains are only showing ads when being access with 'www'. of course, the www DNS record is a CNAME to my unique pub.id from adsense.

but i was also expecting it to work withouth the www, by pointing the A Record to their given IP. anyone knows how we can have the domain to show ads without www?

I'm going to be trying out google adsense parking as soon as my subsription runs out at godaddy cash parking. I was taking a look at google's example page and really like how they made it look just like thier search results. I don't make much on cash parking, but i'm sure the layout of google's parking is going to incrase my revenues.

adsense works only with a developed website and good content. i think you can not make good money with parked domain adsense.

I have applied for a domain for adsense approval. But, after all the settings, I am still unable to show ads provided by google as Google hasn't approved my domain yet. What to do?

I think you should review your settings ( DNS server, point IP .. exactly as google's guide). Once more, you could use free domain for AFD.

Unfortunately for me its not working good. Again i came back to SEDO to park my sites ! Google Domain Parking still needs some improvements in its features like layout options, keyword targetting like how SEDO does...

Not working out for me too. It shows irrelevent ads. The niche of my domain is mobiles but it shows ads of bikes and other unwanted stuff. Not even a single add of cellphones
