Google Adsense, does it work ?

hi everyone,
i'm really new to google Adsense.

so i apologise for any noobish questions.
would really like to know if google adsense can really make you money?

i'm from singapore, does it work for me too?

i talked to this guy, he said Adsense doesn't pay out anymore, is it thru.
and are there different types of adsense accounts?? cos someone told me there is..that's why i am earning so little for my adsense..

AdSense does make money. It depends on how motivated you are to earn that money. Like all jobs, if you work hard enough, you'll make more.

Also, there are two AdSense accounts:

1) A normal publisher - A majority of us are normal publishers
2) Premium Publisher - huge sites with lots of traffic get this privilege.

You don't need to be a premium publisher to make good money with AdSense.

 

Yup there is really money to be made from adsense all you need is to follow their TOS to the letter and get lots of traffic to your site and you're all set to go.

 

One thing you need to know as a new adsense publisher, dont try to cheat GOOGLE, google is GOD and will catch you no matter how you try to scam them, they will find you period. If you get away once doesnt mean your away, they could be stalking you lol

And adsense is the best money maker for webmasters, so respect your big G!

so is it like, i just have to make my own sites with some information and submit them into search engines.
and have adsense on it

But how to drive good traffic to Adsense site? It may take months to get traffic through search engines after submitting site there right? And even after that traffic may be very minimal. And I dont want to wait months to see if my adsense site is generating revenue

 

SEO is not everything. There are plenty of other ways. If you depend on SE, you won't make good amount of money. I think adsense is a good source of income but it's much much better if you can sell your own product.
