Google Adsense Disabled: But still showing ads on some sites?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Renegadez, Apr 3, 2008.

My google adsense account was disabled, however, some of my sites are still showing ads. What does that mean? Some of the sites, I guess the offending one(s), no longer show them.

However, some do, what does this mean?

If your account was disabled, you will not receive a payment for current or future earning - which usually happens for invalid clicks. It can take a few days for all ads to stop showing. They will sometimes send out a warning for a policy violation on a particular site and give you a chance to correct it, but the email will specifically state this, and the ads do not stop during this period.

If the reason given was invalid clicks, you should just remove the adsense code on all your sites because you aren't going to get paid for any clicks.

I got this: As a result of these policy violations, your AdSense account has been
disabled. You will receive payment for outstanding earnings, but we're
no longer able to partner with you or your network of sites.

Then you will get paid for clicks received up until they sent you the letter, but not any future clicks. It is a permanent ban/termination.

It takes a few hours for them to all come off.

I guess they immediately took them off the offending URLs, but the other ones will disappear with time I suppose.

if you violated the TOS with a site that they feel they should close your account, they ban the site,so no adsense code will work on it.
that is different then disabling you code.
they won't ban your other sites, unless there is a reason for it.

That's incorrect. Did you even read the email?

As a result of these policy violations, your AdSense account has been
disabled. You will receive payment for outstanding earnings, but we're
no longer able to partner with you or your network of sites
    .

The other sites adsense have already been disabled.

    what i said isn't incorrect.
they disable the account and they disable ad serving on the sites that google doesn't want adsense on.
their not going to disable ad serving on all your sites.

why his ad code still works, who knows.

No, you are wrong. The entire account has been banned and all adsense ads, on all sites, have already been removed (just not the offending sites). When the email says "we're no longer able to partner with you..." it means a permanent termination of your entire account.
