Google Adsense content and subdomains - content bleeding over from subdomains.

    Hello,

Has anyone here used Adsense on a user generated content site with subdomains? The problem I have is that I have each user gets their own forum with a name.domain.com subdomain, so you can have forum1.domain.com, forum2.domain.com, etc. What I am noticing is that many of the forums are showing the same ads, which seem to be based on content from the most dominant forums. Meaning, forum1.domain.com might be about video games, but forum2.domain.com is not, but since forum1.domain.com has more content forum2.domain.com is seeing ads for video games.

Anyone have any suggestions for preventing this bleed-over for subdomains and adsence? I would rather the forum that does not have as much content have targeted ads for that subdomain rather than pull from the content of the more dominant subdomain. :)

usually they target on a page basis, so the ads should be relevant. Are you sure you're not making conclusions out of what you see instead of relying on what other people see?
