Google adsense confusion, help welcome!

  1. #1
I have used adwords with no problem for my anxiety site below. I have just built the site www.intra4life.com and wanted to start of using adwords for this site also, when I tried to create my campaign I was told keywords are inactive. I then emailed google and received this reply

    1. Reactivate them in one of two ways:
    - Increase your keywords' Quality Score
    - Increase your CPC bid

To increase the quality score we encourage you to create more targeted and
relevant keywords. The more closely your ad relates to your keywords, the
more likely a user is to click on your ad. This not only increases the
number of potential customers reaching your site, but it also increases
your click-through rate (CTR) and Quality Score and therefore reduces the
CPC required to maintain your position.

For example, if you want to advertise a London hotel, you will have a
higher Quality Score if you select the keyword 'London hotel' than if you
choose the more general keyword 'hotel'. 'Hotel' will show your ad on
irrelevant searches such as 'Paris hotel' and therefore lower your Quality
    Score.

In your case, instead of the general keyword 'intra' you could try having
key phrases, like 'intra herbal drink' or 'intra natural juice blend'.

    2. Delete them.
Deleting them and re-adding them will not work, because our system
remembers the keywords and their Quality Score. However, deleting them
will prevent their low scores from hurting other keywords' chances.

    3. Don't do anything.
There is a small chance that an inactive keyword may become active without
optimisation or an increased CPC bid. You can wait to see if this happens
for you, but we recommend choosing option 1 or 2 above.

Why is there a problem here, it is asking for £2.50 to active the word intra, there is very litle competion for this word and other peoples ads show up when this word is put in and I am sure they are not paying £2.50 a click. To be honest I am not totally up on adsense ahving used it once, has anyone any advice, the cheapest is 50p to activate any of my phrases, which in my opinion is not viable.

    Any help is appreciated
