Google AdSense Client ID in my DP profile

I found that i can write in Google AdSense Client ID in my profile options and earn money from this forum. Google adsense allows that? i can't get ban from adsense because this? and someone has earned some money in this way?

 

Hundreds of people use it. Don't expect much from it..maybe a few cents every month. .

It actually does brings some money, but of course not as many as if you have your own site adsensified

 

but i can't add the adsense id, it shows an error that the format is incorrect.

 

Format it correctly and you won't get that error

 

but i tried different formats but it always shows that error.
the correct format is pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ?
i wrote this but it shows that error.

updated: tried again and now it works
