Google Adsense Bank EFT Problem

    Today I decided to change the bank I have my Google Adsense payment sent to. I am in UK and payments are sent frm Ireland and I thought problems would not arise.

    However, I tried changing it - to a brand new account and it gives me error message of "Duplicate account information. You have already submitted this account."

    Now I tried my wife's account and same problem. Looked on the net and most people who had this problem have had to get their payments sent by Cheque. So I have done that now.

    But how can this problem be fixed? Looked all over Google help pages and nothing found. Emailed Google and the replied by saying this matter has been addressed in help section.

    Anyone?
