google adsense and making a living

publishers struggle with this topic i want to know if anyone has had good success with adsense where they can live alone from that?

 

I used to live on Adsense, about a year back I guess. Now I prefer some affiliate marketing. Consistent payments with a little more work

 

I've only been doing this for about year and so I may no be the best person to answer this. But the most I've made in a month was about $250 and that's from 10 blogs. I personally make more with affiliate products but there are people who do make a living and a good living at that with just adsense.

 

Of course you can. Just targeted ads for targeted traffic. Tons of targeted traffic. Then you're set.

 

If I will concentrate on adsense, I think it is enough to earn for living, but I am doing other jobs for assurance

 

It's for sure possible. All that matters is how much and what kind of traffic a site has.

 

1.) Define your goal, your target for "making a living" (example: I need to make $2,000/month or higher in Adsense in order to live comfortably and be secure)

2.) Determine where you are now (maybe you make $200/month in Adsense currently).

3.) Do the math (I need 10 times more content + links to reach my goal).

Of course there are other factors involved, such as letting a domain age a bit so that G will warm up to it, and so on.

But if you can calculate your earnings per articles, then you can determine a clear goal.

You can even figure out how many articles you want to write each day or links built in a day, etc.

 

I think it's a mistake.

Make money from as much sources as possible.

 

One of my friend left his job and now he only concentrating on his website with adsense.

I hope one day I could make a living merely on Adsense earnings. But so far it is just a dream and it is so far from it. No problem, if the target is right, I believe one day it will come true since so many people earn good money from Adsense. That is the power of examples.

 

To be frank, salary from my day job gives the lion's share and the adsense earnings just supplement it but the latter is increasing at a steady pace

 

yah, i've had some success with Adsense, but for the last year or so I could not "live" on it - at least not with the lifestyle i've become accustomed to.

 

Google adsense is my main income source....
