Google Adsense Addiction v2008

Well, last year I opened a topic asking how many pointers could admit that they, just like me are addicted to checking my Google Adsense income regularly. Too regularly in most cases, but unlike last year, my Adsense account gets checked at most 4 times a day compared to my 2007 record of 27 times a day.

I was checking them every 15 minutes during the day. As soon as I got up, before visiting the boys room, I would crank the lappy up and check my overnight income. Then before hitting the sack at night, I would check my stats again. I was an addict!

But what about you. Will the 2008 results be different to last year. Help me find out by filling in The Google Addiction Poll.

 

I check around 10 times a day if not more. Its totally addictive. Luckily Affiliate Window have a desktop alert system, so no need to check there as regularly

 

yup, can't resist it lol, checks the reports every 30 minutes though in the past i used to check a lot more, than i do now.

 

I'm checking it more and more every day.....

 

I am addicted to nothing, happily.

Why bother yourself checking and wasting time, spend time developing and marketing your website!

I check my adsense account like one time per day and sometime one time in two days: No much free time to check it every second

 

Last year it was 1 time in 2 days.
Now 1 time in 5 days ^_^

 

seriously i moved to other things... don't even check 1 time a day.

 

I check once or twice a week.

 

I wouldn't call checking your AdSense earnings an addiction. Everybody wants to earn money... so checking how much you've earned isn't really an addiction.

 

lol i look about 6 to 10 times a day and, yes. The second i get up before my ciggy even! then million times during the day and before i go to bed

 

I try not too, but I too suffer from google adsense obsessive compulsive disorder..... (GAOCD) I've probably checked as many as a dozen times a day. I really need to do what someone above suggested and WORK on my sites instead of checking the "score".

From time to time I'll catch myself just compulsively starting to visit there and just tell myself.... "you don't need to waste that time there right now."

For that matter I could get hip deep in the stats at analytics for half a day if I'm not careful.

 

Hahahahaha I love the "google adsense obsessive compulsive disorder..... (GAOCD)". Never really thought of it like that, but yes based on the results, it can be a disorder and maybe Google can be blamed.

I check 1 time a day. Unfortunately, I have had little changes for the last 2 months..

 

I had to vote on the first one cuz I have the adsense addon on firefox, so I can see it all day long

to bad it's only showing a few bucks a day..lol

 

When i started 4 years ago getting a 50 cent day was out of this world. Now if I don't get a $50 day I go out of the world. But just like the last reply I too have the Firefox plugin so all I do is look down to the bottom right and there is my daily income. Helps me with my "google adsense obsessive compulsive disorder"
