Google adsense ad.

I often see Google adsense ad. on this forum, also in image format. Really curious to know how much will Google pay for it?

 

I think google pays more for image ads.

 

Google shows image ads when the payout for these is bigger than the one of the text ads.

 

So that would mean, image ads pay more?

 

This should be part of Google's smart pricing model. If image ads convert well Google will pay more.

I think we have all got Hurricane_Sh's question wrong. What is being asked is our opinion of how much Google pays for its own ads, i.e. Google Adsense ads inside the Adwords box. This is something I would like to know too. On my search engines site, I have never seen an Adsense ad. So, I am assuming that they use the ad only when they do not have a paying ad for that space. I wonder if they feel obliged to pay the 0.05 minimum?

i think the 5 cents minimum is the min amount an adwords advertiser has to pay.. its not the min google pays to a publisher for a click !

 

Yeah, I have seen clicks worth like 2 or 3 cents.

 

Does anyone even get paid for the Adsense image ads from Google themselves?

 

I think ads from google themselves pays. it is not PSA afterall

 

I would think so, but if you are worried about it, you could always block their URL in your AdSense account.
