I emailed Google yesterday about this issue, and being as Google is they managed to sufficiently dodge the main question to leave me still undecided as to the blunt answer. Basically I was doing some research into online dating - and came across this "adult online dating" site and well according to the Google Adsense Guidelines they don't allow sites with pornographic, adult or mature content, so I was wondering does a site like this break the TOS: http://www.services-dating.com/ The basic response from google was a brief summation of their guidelines and I suppose if I read between the lines they were basically sayin - you can put them on sites like these and if we find them innappropriate we will notify you to remove them. Personally I don't want to even tempt fate when it comes to Google Adsense so I didn't want to charge off and consider that response from Google "the green light" and I'd like to know what people thought of the matter.
Well it would appear that too date their site hasn't been banned and they are still running Google Ads.
That is a temporal issue. The site content is decidedly adult and mature. It is way past the grey area.
I've seen more and more sites that were 'against' the vague TOS, is G not enforcing the rules? I mean I ran a site about lottery pools, and received a request from G to remove their ads very quickly. But, when I look at some sites about blackjack, and gambling affiliates, AS ads are clearly visible on those sites. These aren't people who don't know, I've seen AS ads on gambling sites advertised by DP members. Just wondering, has AS become less rule enforcing? tom
I'm sure the publishers ask G for permission. The only thing G is really strict about are the invalid clicks.
If I put AdSense on a site like that, I wouldn't sleep at night. It's definitely playing with fire, in my opinion. Also a quick comment on the "other sites" argument I see here quite frequently: Just because there are sites taking advantage of the "grey areas" in the AdSense ToS doesn't make it a good idea. If you see a site and think, "I wonder how they're getting away with that...", that means you intuitively know that it's "on the edge". So then, the only question that remains is: Do I want to live on the edge? Just my two cents, for what it's worth... Sam
definitely they will not allow this. sooner of later they will find it and not amazingly ban account.
