My god, I was starting to Wonder.
Google built the operating systems that their servers run to do everything. They also use a heavily customized server side scripting language, but htat's a rumour. Nothing ever really gets outta that place, except search results.
    :p

There's a keyphrase which is changed every week and you need to type this into the search to gain access.

They key point which some people seem to be forgetting is that the difference between standard web applications which have ACP's and the Google search engine is that Google systems have been written by Google for Google and for no one but Google. The software sits on servers owned and managed by Google Inc linked to the internet through a high speed packet network, the very same network which is used in each of the facilities for staff members to access the internet as well. Google does indeed have admin control panels and management utilities but they are specialised software running on the servers and are interacted with using command line clients and desktop applications. Google has never had a publicly accessible control panel to change details of the system. Not all changes are hardcoded as been claimed above as google relies heavily on its enormous database for configuring the search systems and indeed all of their systems. There may be some browser-based applications used by google however they would all be secured to be accessible from Google's offices only and only from authorized computers on the local area network.

Basic network security dictates that there should be no open access to the network and that if an access system to the database can be avoided it should be avoided. There are tens of thousands of experienced hackers around the world who at one point or another in their career have attempted or will attempt to penetrate Google's security systems and gain access to the search engine controls. Google prevents this every day with advanced firewalls, packet level and circuit level filters, domain authentication systems, and a whole host of other security systems all aimed at preventing illegal access to the network. Google's database is worth billions and correspondingly Google has spent millions, tens of millions in preventing that data from falling into the wrong hands.

I would call on the forum moderators to remote this topic as it discusses a topic which is pointless and in point of fact has posts which have been forged. The images are obvious fakes and excepting some sort of lame practical joke on the part of the author, do not belong in this forum.

(Sorry, I can't Use Links Yet)

I figured I would offer an additional piece of information regarding the google admin panel. If you do any amount of research...(or if you know someone working for google), then you know that it is in the above pattern, however it is alphanumeric, and contains symbols...
The URL also changes everyday. Most people don't know that, but one of the largest websites in the world needs that feature. It has no pattern, as this is generated randomly each day using php.
