Any more results in after a few weeks? It's been quiet about the ol'adlinks so I guess it wasn't as good as hoped for?

On some sites I have great CTR, on some I have a big fat 0. Really werid results. Can't decide if I like them or not.

Does the first click count towards CTR or is the second, actual Ad click that counts? (I guess the second). And how about impressions? Does the first KW impressions show as the impression in the reports or is it after the first click that the impression is recorded?

The user clicks on a text link, that is an impression. Once he clicks on an add, that is a click

I think its only the second click that show in CTR but impressions looks like they show the first one (yet my stats are showing 3/4 adlink imps of other unit imps)

I hope you understand what I mean here, because that last sentence kind of stinks from an english lesson perspective.

If that is the case I have an absolutely crazy initial CTR (closer to 100% than 50), are you sure of this?

LOL yeah I get you... (It's 12:19 anyway, I forgive you.)

From my 8 hours worth of data I get the same. About 75% impressions compared to the normal ads on the dame page (hence as many initial impressions) yet I doubt the difference is due to a lot of people clicking the first click. Could be though...

That would be a rather unusual and unique way of defining those terms. The more normal version would be:

An impression is a page that loads with the banner or text ad/link displayed on it.

A click or click-through is when someone clicks on a banner or link.

"A click or click-through is when someone clicks on a banner or link."

So, when the user clicks on any sponsored url after he clicks the textlink ad, how is that counted? as a second click?

Never mind. I think you're probably correct, fryman.

I was reading more than one thread in different windows -- thought this was about coop ads when I replied the first time.

    Carry on
