I am noticing a big change today, Fryman. But I am not running textlinks where I am noticing a BIG change, just standard ads :) :)

I think his point is the fact...other than that so we will have adlink feedback in 2 days from channels.

. Sorry...guess I should have refreshed up on this thread first.

My feeling around these adlinks is they are a great addition to Google's offerings. Regardless of the statistics we will learn in 2 days they are simply the a perfect fit for certain cosmetic situations on a webpage.

I relate them to a convenience store owner. When you go your local convenience store you will notice some items, chocolate bars, gum, etc are displayed in prime space, usually near checkout front line and center. They are there because the merchant yields the most profit on those items. But there are still many other products this merchant has that are in non prime space. The yield is not the greatest with these items but they still sell through and help make the merchants store look plentiful with convenient items.

So what I am saying is I will keep my chocolate bars (AS banners) displaying in prime space and will put my other store items (AdLinks) in non prime space where they fit best.

My store has become more complete with AdLinks...you really can't go wrong here.

I had no idea these adlinks existed, guess I need to pay more attention. :)

I have set the up on their own seperate channels and will be interested to see what they produce.

    I agree.

I looked at the AdLinks format -- I cannot understand how this will increase CTR at all. I sometimes click on AdSense ads because of the description. I see an AdLink list, I click on a topic, and I get a modified Google search page. No thanks... I can do that myself.

Don't know about the rest of you people, and of course, can't go into details, but after evaluating data collected for a few days, AdLinks are gone from my sites.

The concept is great and I'm sure it would have been a different story if they didn't take the visitors to a second page, but instead to the advertisers' page directly.

Hope GG people change their mind and correct this in the future.

I'm not noticing any real improvement either but I'm not ready to give up yet. I'll give AdLinks another week or so.

Correct...accept Adlinks are the only format that suit some webpages best.

I got accepted in to Adsense a few days ago. I stuck adlinks up on my site. Atleast it looks good. Thought I need more traffic to my site looks like google will be getting its money back when I throw some down on Adwords.

Adlinks work great on my site (in the sig). Like Homer said, it depends on your placement and your site content. Though I really wish it was more random instead of alphabetical order.

You can have 2 adlinks in addition to the 3 maximum normal adsense ads.

I don't think that is correct. As I understand it you can have 1 Adlinks unit in addition to the 3 standard ad units per page. Check the TOS.

Okay, I have my AdLinks up on homepage since 16th and made a whole $0.03 from 1 click. That's my experience.
